The Regulation of Pyroptosis and Ferroptosis by MicroRNAs in Cardiovascular Diseases

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are considered the most prevalent noncommunicable disease and leading cause of death worldwide. A plethora evidence has revealed that microRNAs (miRNAs) could control inhibition or progression CVDs by regulating pivotal cell processes ranging from metabolism homeostasis to programmed (PCD). Pyroptosis ferroptosis two major types nonapoptotic PCDs involved in pathogenesis heart failure. However, no study discussed crosstalk between miRNAs these CVDs. The current review demonstrated different can regulate both pyroptosis thereby affect inhibition. Altogether, content encourages further studies confirm mentioned pathways suitable be as novel therapeutic approaches against
